RULES: |
| 1.
Photo must be of a Valentine's day theme or I should at
least be able to use it for a Valentine's Day card design. |

Photo can be funny, lovey-dovey, serious, inspirational, feel-good, cozy,
etc. etc. |

Photo must be family friendly! |
| |
•
Baby and kids shots are my specialty, but solo, couples and family photos
are definitely welcomed ... don't forget your pets! |

Please note: If you should win, your photo submission does not necessarily
need to be the photo I use for your design and cards, but does need to be
of the same subject(s). |
| 2.
The person entering the photo must actually own the photo! |
| |
•
You must have either taken the photo yourself, or have a photo release
waiver from whomever captured your entry shot! |
| 3.
Contest ends February 1, 2010. |

The photo that gets the most “Likes” by Sunday, January 31st
at 11:59 a.m. PT time WINS! |
| |
•
Winner will be announced on the same day, January 31st, at 8 p.m PT. This
will give me enough time to get the winner their cards completed in time
for mailing! |

HOW
TO ENTER: |

STEP

If
you don’t already have one, you will need to sign up for a Facebook
account (www.facebook.com) and become
a designs
by cp fan in order to enter and vote. |

|
Upload
your photo from the wall post field. Click on “Photo” then
“Upload a Photo”, add a caption in the "What's on your
mind?" field and then “Share”. The photo will automatically
appear in the Fan Photos file. |

| |
|
Start
voting! designs by cp fans will be able to vote for their favorite entry
by clicking on the “Like” link under each photo entry. The photo
that receives the most “Likes” by the deadline wins ... of course
photo comments are always welcomed! |

Winner
will be announced via Facebook on the designsbycp
wall. If
the potential winner does not respond within forty-eight (48) hours from
the first notification attempt then such person will be disqualified and
an alternate winner will be selected. |

A first
place winner will be chosen at the end of the Contest Period based on the
highest number of "likes" received from the date of posting to
the final day of the Contest Period. Only "likes" will be counted,
any other comments will not count towards the winner selection. In the event
of a tie, the tied Entries will be judged by designsbycp
based on the following equally weighted criteria: appearance & personality
of those in photo, as well as creativity, originality and quality of photo. |

By
participating, Entrants agree to these Official Rules, which are final
and binding in all respects. Winners may be required to complete, execute,
and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and, where lawful, Publicity Release
upon request. If Affidavit/Release is not returned within seven (7) days
of notification, or winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance
with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner
will be selected. By submitting an photo entry, each participant warrants
that (i) the photo does not violate any law or regulation or any right
of any third party, including those laws, regulations, and rights related
to copyrights, trademarks, publicity, or privacy, (ii) the Entrant has
followed the Rules and has the right to grant the rights to a Photo as
provided in these Rules, (iii) the Photo has not been published or submitted
in any other competition whose rules do not permit photo to be used elsewhere;
(iv) the Entry is his or her original work; (v) the Entry has not won
previous awards; (vi) you have obtained permission from any person whose
name or likeness is used in the Entry; and (vii) that publication of the
Entry via various media including Web posting, will not infringe on the
rights of any third party. Any such entrant will indemnify and hold harmless,
designsbycp from any claims to the
contrary. Winners may not request prize substitution. Participant will
be disqualified if they have won a previous contest within the last 6
months. By submitting a photo, entrant acknowledges that his/her Entry
may be posted on designsbycp website, in designsbycp
discretion. Further, by submitting a photo, the Entrant grants permission
for designsbycp to publish, post,
display, and otherwise use the Photo in any form, in any manner, and in
any media deemed appropriate without compensation of any kind to Entrant.
